In December 1997, the first issue of the Zaglambia expatriates organization’s newsletter was published, “Alon Zaglambia” and in Yiddish, “Zaglembier Zeitung” after the newspaper that was published, between the two world wars, in Zaglambia, Poland.

Rick Feldman (Rick Feldman) with the help of Jeff Cymbler (Jeff Cymbler) found that the editor of the paper was Leon Szpiegelman and the office of the paper was at Kołłątaja 34 in Bandin.

See at the end of this page, a newspaper from 1922, a link to a newspaper from 1939, a photograph of the house where the newspaper editorial office was located and a document showing that Leon Spiegelman was the editor.

The leaflet replaced the letters and circulars that had been distributed, until then, among Zaglambia people registered as members of the organization.

ince then, the bulletin is published twice a year, before Rosh Hashanah and before Passover.

In the bulletin you will find: articles related to the glorious past of the various Jewish communities of Zaglambia and their events in the Holocaust, memories and personal stories of the members of the organization and current information about the activities of the organization and its relations with various institutions in Israel and around the world.
The materials are published in Hebrew, Polish, English and Yiddish. Members of the first and second generation of Zaglambia expatriates are active in the bulletin system.
