\nThe former chairman of the international organization<\/b>
\nAryeh ben Tov (Hasenberg) was born in 26 Av 8\/8\/1923 in the city of Bendin in the Zaglambia region of southwestern Poland. Died on the 19th of Sivan – 6\/6\/1996.<\/p>\n

Studied at a Jewish gymnasium named after Shimon Furstenberg, a Zionist youth trainee<\/p>\n

During the Nazi occupation he was in the ghetto in the city of Bendin, on 1\/8\/1943 he was deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp, he received a tattooed number 133102 and in January 1945 during the evocation from the camp, he escaped to the forest and thus survived.<\/p>\n

<\/b>I was born in 1928 in the city of Bendin in the Zaglambia region of Poland, to David Lior and Miriam Lior, n\u00e9e Kaminer.<\/p>

Died February 20, 2017.<\/p>

The family was ultra-Orthodox and belonged to the great “Gor” Hasidism. My parents were the first generation, which was infected with the germ of Zionism and socialism and I grew up in this atmosphere.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Honorary president and former chairman of the organization in the years: 1997-2014
<\/b>Avraham Green initiated the establishment of the Argov and served, for many years, as the chairman of the organization. In 2014 he resigned from his position and freed himself to write his biography.
Born in Chaldez in Bezglambia, he lived through the Holocaust in labor camps and concentration camps – Markstadt, Pinfteichen, Gross-Rosen, Buchenwald and Altenburg.<\/p>

After the end of the war, he spent a short time in an orphanage in Bialsk, which he left in favor of the establishment of Kibbutz Bisfarja. As part of the kibbutz, he was in the Farnewald displaced persons camp (Germany), in Italy and in Cyprus. In April 1948 he arrived in Israel, to Kibbutz Ashdot Ya’akov.<\/p>

Avraham fought in the Israeli War of Liberation and other Israeli wars including the Yom Kippur War.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
